The firm’s roots and core values spring from Michael’s vision to deliver premier wealth management services free the conflicts of interest deeply embedded in the antiquated business models of banks, brokerages and insurance companies.  As Cadence's founder, Michael enjoys helping families determine what money means in their lives, and how they can effectively connect it with their personal, professional and philanthropic goals. 

 

Prior to founding the firm, Michael gained broad financial planning experience, with specific emphasis in portfolio management.  Mike graduated with honors from Lamar University receiving a BA in Economics.  He later earned an MBA in Corporate Finance from the University of Dallas.  He is a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP) practitioner as well as being a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF).    

 

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: Michael and his family live in Plano, Texas.   He is an active volunteer on many advisory boards.  In Michael's spare time he also enjoys tennis, soccer, reading, yoga and traveling with his family.

Jessica is our main, “consider it done” client administrative specialist. She handles a variety of our clients’ account-maintenance transactions, including set-up, transfers, deposits, withdrawals and related activities. She serves as a helpful liaison between our advisors and their clients.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: Jessica has a B.S. in Advertising and a Master’s Degree in Communication Arts from Texas A & M University, Commerce.  Jessica and her family enjoy camping and hiking the trails of Texas and beyond.
